The Jr. Pee Wee Falcons bring back a Championship to the City of Garden Grove after 21 years (1990 Jr. Midget Rams).

The Garden Grove Falcons Jr. Pee Wee team played the Lawndale Cardinals in the 2011 Pacific Coast Conference Craig Burris Bowl Championship; avenging a week 2 (21-0) loss by winning in a stunning overtime game 12-6 on a leaping catch by WR Cristian "Sunshine" Quinos from quarterback Farid "Half-Time" Partida.

The dominating defense play kept the Falcons in the game, but the offense inevitable won the Championship with a 6 minute 37 second drive to end the game and send it in to overtime.

The Defense, lead by the incredible hits of Linebackers Isaiah "Squiggy" Leal (8 solo tackles and 3 tackles for a loss), Braunson "Hoff" Garcia (5 solo tackles and 2 tackles for a loss), and Robert "Yogi" Caudillo (8 solos tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, and 1 sack) and the dominating play of Defensive Linemen Darren "Jumbo" Fauni (9 solo tackles and 3 tackles for a loss) and Jonathan "Chocolate Thunder" Harris (8 solo tackles and 1 tackle for a loss) held the Cardinals to negative yards in their only possession of overtime.

On the first play of the Falcons overtime possession, QB Farid Partida threw a fade pass to the corner of the endzone for receiver Cristian Quinos to make the leaping catch for the win.

The offense amassed 385 yards of total offense led by QB Farid Partida's arm and legs as he ran for 120 yards and a touchdown and threw for 150 yards on 7 of 9 passing and 1 touchdown. The offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage opening huge holes for running backs Robert Caudillo and Braunson Garcia.

The championship win was a year long fight for the Falcons as they turned around a 2-3 start to the season, winning the last 5 games in route to their overtime victory.

It is with great sadness that the Garden Grove Falcons mourn the loss of a great friend, coach, father, and husband. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and his son.

Rest in peace brother. Please keep his family in your prayers.
